Automation & Support Engineer (Hong Kong)

WHO YOU ARE

You are a self-motivated individual who excels in fast-paced, dynamic
environments. You are quick to learn, bring strong problem-solving abilities, and
communicate effectively while staying well-organized. As a collaborative team
player, you enjoy tackling challenges and have 3+ years of relevant experience in
a role that required independent problem-solving and debugging skills. Exposure
to financial data management and processes would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage operational processes and related applications
• Support and resolve business-as-usual (BAU) issues, ensuring smooth
operational processes
• Develop and implement process automation tasks to enhance efficiency and
productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical
challenges and deliver innovative solutions
• Identify and debug issues swiftly, providing timely resolutions that make a
real impact to the business

Skills & Experience

• Proficient in Python and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy)
• Proficient in working with Linux-based environments and shell scripting
• Experience with DevOps Tools – (Git, Docker, CI/CD, Nomad)
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, ClickHouse, Postgres)
• Familiar with scheduling and automation tools (N8N, Rundeck, Cron)
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Familiar with messaging frameworks – (ZMQ, Redis Streams, Solace)
• A passion for developing innovative solutions and a keen interest in process
improvement
• Nice to have exposure to AI Agents
